Senior C++ Developer position at LANIT, focusing on network demons, RFC implementation, and Linux kernel network subsystem development. Remote work within Russia.

Development of proprietary network demons/services; Implementation of RFC, IEEE standards; Development of software for managing the network subsystem of the Linux kernel; Development of software for managing the switching chip.

Experience as a C++ developer for at least 5 years; Knowledge of network technologies, TCP/IP protocol stack; Excellent knowledge of Linux, experience in developing applications for Linux/Unix; Experience with Docker containers, experience with git; Knowledge of static and dynamic routing protocols, their operating principles, network device management technologies and protocols (ARP, BGP, BFD, ECMP, EGP, FRR, IGP, LACP, MC-LAG, RSTP, STP, VLAN, VRRP, VXLAN); Skills in practical use of IP routing diagnostics tools, IP packet research, IP network endpoint load creation: ping, traceroute, tcpdump, wireshark, iperf, etc.; Practical experience using specialized tools (traffic generators/analyzers) such as IXIA (Keysight)/Spirent/Cisco TRex, etc.; Practical experience with one of the network emulators: VIRL (Virtual Internet Routing Lab), Cisco PT (Cisco Packet Tracer), GNS3 (Graphical Network Simulator-3), EVE-NG (Emulated Virtual Environment Next Generation), Virtual Environment Next Generation, and others.
