Senior Application & AI Security Engineer

RingCentral is seeking a Senior Application & AI Security Engineer in Sofia, Bulgaria, offering $3800-$4500 net plus 13th salary, 4 days office/1 day remote, to enhance application security and safely integrate AI technologies.

RingCentral is an international company developing corporate communication solutions. The role involves strengthening application security and safely implementing AI technologies in the Sofia office. Responsibilities include vulnerability assessment, threat modeling, security design review, risk assessment, SAST, DAST, SCA, code review, penetration testing, and ensuring LLM applications, AI agents, coding assistants, and MCP servers are secure.

Deep knowledge of web application vulnerabilities and exploitation/mitigation methods. Experience with threat modeling, security design review, and risk assessment. Practical experience with SAST, DAST, SCA, code review, and penetration testing. Understanding of risks in LLM applications, AI agents, coding assistants, and MCP servers. Programming or scripting skills. Ability to provide clear, actionable recommendations to engineering teams. Conversational English. Nice to have: experience with LLM/RAG, AI-assisted security testing, WebRTC, video or audio streaming.

Salary: $3800-$4500 net (upper limit negotiable for top candidates) plus 13th salary. Schedule: 4 days per week in Sofia office, 1 day remote. Relocation support (package and documents) provided.
