Senior Accountant

Senior Accountant for an international fintech company in Limassol, Cyprus. Full accounting cycle, IFRS reporting, and bank compliance.

We are an international fintech company (NDA) in Limassol, Cyprus. Key responsibilities: - Management analytics: monthly project reporting with plan-fact analysis and deviation comments. - IFRS reporting: full cycle of financial statements (OFP, OSD, ODDS, notes) for jurisdictions without mandatory audit. - Quality control of outsourcing: primary document flow, interaction with external accountant, thorough review of outsourced reports, especially consolidated statements for Hong Kong, Singapore, UAE, and Cyprus structures. - Bank compliance: preparing detailed responses to bank requests for KYC/AML support.

Education and certification: - Higher economic/financial/accounting education. - ACA/ACCA/CIMA/DiplFR certificates are a plus. Professional skills: - Deep knowledge of IFRS and transformation principles – experience preparing full package from scratch. - Proficient in 1C:Accounting (advanced level: selections, custom reports, chart of accounts, adjustments). - Advanced Excel: VLOOKUP/HLOOKUP, pivot tables, Power Query, slicers, complex formulas (SUMIFS, INDEX/MATCH). - Fluent business English (B2-C1): correspondence, reading foreign jurisdiction balance sheets. - Proactivity – independent problem-solving without constant supervision. - High attention to detail and stress resistance – work under tight bank deadlines. Advantage: - Experience with international outsourcing companies. - Understanding of accounting legislation in Cyprus, Hong Kong, Singapore, UAE.
