Scala Blockchain Developer

Sber is hiring a Middle Scala Blockchain Developer for hybrid or office work in Moscow. Full-cycle backend development, REST API, PostgreSQL, Kafka.

Participation in the full backend development cycle (architecture, coding, launch into production). Designing and developing REST API for external integrations. Working with PostgreSQL and Kafka queues. Writing code with test coverage.

Experience as a Scala 2.13 developer (standard library, Future, implicits) from 4 years. Quill (writing and optimizing queries for partitioning). Jetty (embedded, thread pool configuration, WebSocket). Kafka (consumers/producers, manual commit, rebalancing handling). Bouncy Castle (ECDSA, Keccak, key management). Liquibase (PostgreSQL migrations, schema changes without downtime). Experience with Cucumber. Experience setting up CI/CD (Jenkins, Groovy). Experience with agency development. Understanding of popular blockchain concepts (blocks, transactions, logs, cryptography). Experience with RPC clients (Web3j / ethers / JSON-RPC).
