Senior JAVA ENGINEER position at Comtek for Caterpillar projects. Remote, B2B contract, Full-time. Salary: $5800 - $6600 per month. Requires 6+ years of Java 17+, AWS, Microservices, and B2+ English.

Comtek is seeking a Senior JAVA ENGINEER for Caterpillar projects. This is a remote, full-time position with a minimum 9-month contract. The role involves 8 hours of work daily, with overlap required for the team in Chicago (8 a.m. - 12 p.m., 7 a.m. - 15 p.m., or 9 a.m. - 17 p.m. Chicago time).

Bachelor’s degree (diploma photo required at application stage). Must be outside the territory of Russia and Belarus. 6+ years of experience with Java 17 or later. Experience with MVC, Microservices. Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Azure DevOps, Jenkins. Strong AWS technologies (AWS Kinesis, AWS SQS, AWS SNS, Apache Kafka, RabbitMQ, Apache ActiveMQ). Experience with Restful APIs, TDD/BDD. Proficiency in API tools: Swagger, Postman, Assertible. Experience with datastores such as AWS Aurora, AWS RDS, AWS DynamoDB, MongoDB, ElasticSearch, Cassandra, Redis, MySQL, Oracle. Knowledge of other AWS technologies: API Gateway, ALB, NLB, Fargate, Lambda, S3, CloudWatch, KMS. Experience debugging and maintaining software in Linux or Unix platforms. Working written/spoken English (B2+).

B2B contract. Full-time. Minimum 9 months contract. 8 hours a day. Overlap with team in Chicago: 8 a.m. - 12 p.m. or 7 a.m. - 15 p.m. or 9 a.m. - 17 p.m. by Chicago time.
