Remote Graphic Designer / Layout Designer in Adobe InDesign

Remote graphic designer/layout designer in Adobe InDesign for print products. Project-based payment negotiated per task; regular order flow possible after successful collaboration.

Remote ongoing collaboration for a printing house. Main focus: design and layout of printed materials. Responsibilities: - Layout and formatting of printed products in Adobe InDesign; - Creation and refinement of layouts: booklets, catalogs, leaflets, brochures, menus, business cards and other printed materials; - Making edits according to technical specifications; - Preparing layouts for print in compliance with printing house technical requirements; - Transferring source files with correctly collected fonts and linked files.

Mandatory: - Confident command of Adobe InDesign (main working program); - Understanding of prepress principles: color models, bleed, safe margins, image resolution, overprints and PDF export; - Accuracy in working with text, styles, grids and multi-page documents; - Meeting deadlines and prompt communication during working hours; - Portfolio with examples of layout and print design. Will be an advantage: - Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator; - Experience working with printing houses; - Ability to work with large catalogs, tables and multi-page publications; - Ability to occasionally take urgent tasks.
