QA Full-stack

Company: Selecty (KA); Position: QA Full-stack on banking big data project; Salary: from 250,000 to 400,000 RUB net per month; Location: Russia only; Remote; Full-time; Employment under Labor Code of RF.

Banking project: big data analytics service for corporate clients (medium and large business). Helps develop business, analyze competitors, manage risks, and assess audience. Automation stack: Python, pandas, numpy, psycopg2, pytest, Allure, PySpark. Responsibilities: - Validate data loading processes. - Check correctness of downloading data from external sources (credit bureaus, Central Bank, Federal Tax Service, etc.). - Control data layout in target tables in S3/Iceberg. - Confirm processing of 100% of incoming data volume. - Verify attribute composition (e.g., absence of birth date in the "Full Name" field). - Test update mechanisms: no duplicates on reload. - Block records with anomalies (source errors, incorrect formats). - Analyze documentation (technical specifications, mappings) to design test cases. - Data profiling: identify patterns, anomalies, and boundary values. - Document discrepancies between sources and storage. - Monitor Airflow tasks for failures. - Prepare reports on defects and data quality.

Mandatory: - Practical SQL knowledge: advanced level: complex JOINs; subqueries; aggregate functions; writing validation queries; analyzing transformations; identifying discrepancies. - Understanding of Lakehouse architecture (S3, Iceberg) and storage layers (RAW/ODS/DDS). - Experience with databases and storages: Oracle; Greenplum; PostgreSQL; S3, Airflow (task monitoring), Spark (understanding processing logic). - Experience testing data warehouses. Desired: - Working with data formats: XML, JSON, XSD/JSON schemas. - Experience integrating external sources (credit bureaus, FNS, Central Bank, API partners). - Understanding of REST/SOAP API and transfer protocols.
