Telement is looking for a QA Engineer (Middle+/Senior) with 3+ years of experience for a remote, full-time position. The role involves manual and automation testing of a corporate messenger. Salary: 1800 - 4300 USDT.

We are a young technology startup, creating a secure corporate messenger based on the Matrix protocol, developing and adapting the open-source client Element Web/Desktop. We are looking for a strong frontend developer ready to dive into existing code and build a cool product on its foundation. Responsibilities: - Functional and regression testing of web/desktop (Electron) and mobile clients (iOS/Android). - Preparation and maintenance of test cases, checklists, bug reporting. - API testing (REST) via Postman/Swagger. - Gradual automation of critical scenarios (web/API, then mobile if necessary). - Participation in setting up the CI/CD pipeline for autotests (GitLab CI). - Stack selection, writing and maintaining autotests.

We expect from you: - Understanding of client-server architecture: ability to localize problems (client/network/server). - Confident work with API (Postman, Swagger, request collection/analysis). - Basic SQL skills (SELECT, simple queries for data verification). - Git at a basic level, reading logs, working in the terminal. - Experience in writing test cases and checklists. - Attentiveness, systematic approach, ability to reproduce and clearly describe bugs. - English at the level of reading documentation (B1+). Will be a plus: - Automation experience (Python or JS/TS) using Playwright or Cypress. - Skill in writing API tests (requests/axios, CI integration). - Experience testing Electron applications. - Experience testing messengers, real-time systems, Matrix/Signal/Telegram-like protocols. - Willingness to delve into existing code and log not only bugs but also suggest improvements.
