QA Automation Engineer (Python)

Aston is hiring a Middle QA Automation Engineer (Python) with 3+ years of experience. Remote, office or hybrid work available. Involves automation, load and integration testing, QA process setup, and working with modern tools.

Influence the quality of architecture and testing processes. Use modern testing tools: automation, load and integration testing. Review business and technical documentation within the QA scope. Develop test cases according to requirements. Create and coordinate bank requirements documentation (test strategy, test plans, test protocols, etc.). Set up QA processes and tools within a cross-functional team. Perform functional, regression and end-to-end (E2E) testing, participate in acceptance testing. Develop, maintain and improve test automation solutions. Ensure interaction with developers and analysts within the team, as well as with related departments.

Experience as a QA Automation Engineer (Python) from 3 years. Experience with Atlassian Jira/Confluence. Experience with TestIT or similar. Experience testing REST API: Postman/Soap UI, Swagger. Experience with Apache Kafka. Automation skills in Python + Pytest, Allure (for reports). Experience with databases, SQL queries (PostgreSQL/Oracle). Experience building and maintaining centralized logging and monitoring systems based on ELK stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana) and Grafana.
