QA Automation Engineer (Python)

International fintech company in Limassol, Cyprus is looking for a QA Automation Engineer (Python) to develop backend test automation. Full-time, on-site. 3+ years of experience required.

We are an international fintech company looking for a QA Automation Engineer who will help develop backend testing automation. We will first talk to candidates who are already in Cyprus. What you will do: • Develop and maintain automated tests in Python using Pytest; • Automate testing of backend systems; • Maintain and develop the existing test infrastructure; • Work with SQL to verify data; • Integrate automated testing into CI/CD processes; • Participate in developing testing processes and introducing new automation approaches.

We value: • 3+ years of commercial experience in test automation; • Confident experience developing and maintaining automated tests in Python + Pytest; • Hands-on experience automating backend system testing; • Excellent knowledge of testing theory and ability to apply it in practice; • SQL knowledge at the level of writing simple queries; • Understanding of CI/CD principles and the place of automated testing in the product development and delivery process. ⭐️ Nice to have: • Experience with mock services or service virtualization tools; • Experience with Allure TestOps; • Experience setting up and maintaining tests in GitLab CI; • Experience building testing processes and introducing automation in a team from scratch; • Experience and understanding of the payment processes / Payment Gateway domain; • Experience testing mobile applications.
