Python Developer

Rocket Science is hiring a Middle Python Developer for an AI/Agent platform. Salary from 140,000 RUB/month, remote, full-time.

Responsibilities: - Development and evolution of backend services for an AI/Agent platform in Python - Design and implementation of asynchronous task-processing pipelines: task scheduling, queues, workers, statuses, retries, idempotency - Development of AI/LLM integrations and orchestration logic: model calls, result processing, context and task state management - Building agent workflows using LangGraph or similar orchestration tools - Implementation of RAG pipelines: context search, work with embeddings/vector storage, context formatting for LLM - API development with FastAPI, integration of internal and external services. Working with PostgreSQL, Redis, Kafka/Redis Streams and other infrastructure components - Ensuring reliability of AI tasks: timeouts, retries, rate limiting, dead-letter handling, idempotency, fault tolerance - Implementing streaming responses from AI services, e.g., via SSE/WebSocket/Redis Streams - Observability of AI pipelines: logging, metrics, tracing, Langfuse or similar tools, analysis of latency and cost of LLM calls - Participation in designing microservice architecture and distributed systems

Requirements: - Ability to develop LLM agents and work with skills, memory, tool calling, and complex multi-step dialogue scenarios - Understanding of multi-agent system principles and ability to orchestrate agent interactions - Experience with RAG and retrieval: building search pipelines, indexing, and context handling - Ability to create and integrate MCP servers, connect external and internal systems and tools - Understanding of building evaluation, tracing, and quality metrics for AI systems - Ability to optimize latency, cost, performance, and stability of AI solutions - Capability to take an AI prototype from architecture and experiments to production, monitoring, and further product development - Python · FastAPI · Pydantic · PostgreSQL · Redis · Taskiq (or similar) · LangChain · LangGraph · MCP · RAG · Qdrant · Docker
