Python Developer

Middle Python Developer at TIQUM. Remote, full-time. 3-6 years experience. Focus on async systems, PostgreSQL, Kafka.

We are looking for a Python developer to work on event-driven systems. Responsibilities include designing and developing reliable asynchronous and event-driven systems, ensuring observability (logs, metrics, tracing), and working with technologies like FastAPI/Litestar, PostgreSQL, SQLAlchemy, Redis, and Kafka.

Commercial experience with Python for 4+ years Experience with at least one framework: FastAPI or Litestar (Starlite) Strong understanding of AsyncIO, concurrency, multiprocessing Understanding of GIL specifics is an advantage Good knowledge of Python features, including basic and advanced constructs Practical experience with PostgreSQL Experience with SQLAlchemy Experience with Redis, including Redis Pub/Sub Practical experience with Kafka Understanding topics, partitions, consumer groups Experience with event-driven systems Big plus: experience designing and developing such systems from scratch Understanding the importance of observability: logs, metrics, tracing Ability to work with Git, Docker, CI/CD Nice to have: - Experience designing high-load or distributed services - Experience optimizing Python application performance - Understanding various architectural approaches - Experience with Coding Agents - Experience building reliable asynchronous and event-driven systems
