Python Developer (Calibration, Research and Development)

Senior Python Developer for calibration, research and development at Navio. Office in Moscow, flexible schedule, 6+ years of experience.

Analysis of SOTA in calibration and related fields. Design of experiments, hypothesis testing and development of sensor calibration methods. Design of CLI/API for developed methods, automation of calibration and testing processes. Participation in implementation of calibration methods into company products and autonomous driving pipelines. Participation in development of engineering culture, code review, technical debt management.

Experience in industrial software development in Python for more than 5 years. Excellent knowledge of Python3. Knowledge of frameworks for mathematics, sensors and nonlinear optimization – numpy, scipy, GTSAM, Open3D, PCL. Understanding of linear algebra and probability theory, methods of nonlinear and graph optimization. Experience in full-cycle R&D with focus on fast hypothesis testing and product delivery.
