Project Manager for AI Geologist startup in mining/geology. Remote worldwide, full-time, salary 350,000-450,000 RUB gross. Manage cross-functional team, client negotiations, product roadmap.

Atlas Geology Services develops AI Geologist — a technology that helps find promising mineral deposits. The product combines geological maps, geophysics, terrain data, and satellite data. ML models assess site potential, and LLM agents analyze archival geological reports so geologists can verify predictions based on real data. Responsibilities: - Manage cross-functional team of ML, Data Science, backend, and frontend. - Plan sprints, estimate timelines, and manage project risks. - Translate geologists' and clients' tasks into clear technical requirements for the team and vice versa. - Manage product and project roadmap, balancing client requirements, team capabilities, and company goals. - Conduct negotiations with potential C-level clients and heads of geological services. - Participate in preparing commercial proposals, pilots, and contracts. - Discuss various cooperation models with clients: service, SaaS, pay-per-result, royalties. - Interact with international clients and distributed teams. - Regularly report to CEO and, if necessary, to investors.

— At least 3 years of experience in the mining industry: with mining or exploration companies or on their side. — Understanding of the full exploration cycle: greenfield, brownfield, drilling, and reserve confirmation. — Knowledge of industry resource reporting standards JORC, NI 43-101, CRIRSCO at a level sufficient for communication with client geologists. — At least 3 years of experience managing technical cross-functional teams. — Understanding of ML model lifecycle: data collection and labeling, training, validation, and production deployment. — Experience with Agile/Scrum/Kanban. — Experience preparing and maintaining product/project roadmap. — Experience in B2B negotiations with C-level and heads of geological services. — Experience in preparing pilot projects, commercial proposals, and contracts. — English C1+: negotiations, presentations, business correspondence, and documentation. — Experience working with international clients and distributed teams. Nice to have: — Geological, mining, or geophysical education. — Experience with geospatial data: GIS, satellite imagery, geophysics, or drilling data. — Experience in an early-stage startup where PM covers adjacent functions. — Experience launching pilots with mining companies and bringing them to commercial contracts. — Network of contacts in the mining industry in North America, Australia, Latin America, or Africa.
