Product Owner / Business Lead of IT College (SPO)
Product Owner / Business Lead for an IT College (SPO) at Foxford. Responsible for financial results, strategy development, and team management. Remote work from Russia or hybrid. Middle/Senior level.
Responsibilities include:- - Being responsible for the financial results of the business unit – sales in units and money, profitability, EBITDA;- - Forming the development strategy of the business unit;- - Implementing the strategy and hypotheses through managing cross-functional teams (marketing, product, sales, support, academic).
What is important to us:- - Experience in a business/product role in EdTech in formal education (ideally in the secondary vocational education market);- - Key KPI in the last role – financial results (revenue/profitability), financial responsibility level of at least 300 million rubles/year;- - Ability to calculate and work with metrics, deep understanding of unit economics, skill in calculating economics for launching new projects. Ideally - full P&L calculation + cohort analysis;- - Confirmed experience of successful launch from scratch of a business unit or product and further development, launch of complex cross-functional processes; or transfer of a business unit/product from 1 to 100 (experience of exponential growth);- - Understanding of the specifics of cross-functional work and their tools (ideally in the secondary vocational education market): marketing, sales, academic team, customer support, legal, financial team, product development;- - Confirmed experience of successful building of partnership projects/relationships, where you are not only the key decision-maker but also an employee of the partner company;- - Ability to conduct negotiations with a partner or counterparty;- - Understanding of the regulatory specifics of secondary vocational education or the desire/ability to quickly understand the regulations;- - Experience in managing a cross-functional team: ability to set goals, negotiate, and control the results of a project team where employees do not report directly to you;- - Love for analytics, ability to read graphs, get to the bottom of things, draw conclusions, communicate them to the team, and make decisions based on them;- - User research: you understand why it is important to regularly study customer needs and know how to do it (customer development, focus groups, A/B testing, etc.).
