Product Owner (Banking/FinTech)

Product Owner position in Tashkent, Uzbekistan for a banking product. Full-time, office work. Salary from $3000.

We are looking for a Product Owner at Middle+ level and above for a banking product. We need a specialist who can form a product strategy, research business and customer needs, validate hypotheses without development, and turn market and legislative changes into concrete product solutions. Key areas: Product Strategy, Product Discovery, Lean Canvas, Roadmap, Hypothesis Validation, Backlog Management, Agile/Scrum. Tasks: Form and develop product strategy, prepare Lean Canvas and product roadmap; Research bank and user needs using qualitative research methods; Analyze the banking market, competitive solutions, and regulatory changes; Validate product hypotheses without development, assess needs and find optimal solutions; Monitor legislative changes and regulator requirements, adapt product strategy and roadmap; Form, prioritize and manage the product backlog; Interact with the development team, business units and other stakeholders within Scrum; Prepare and defend product initiatives and strategic decisions before company management.

At least 2 years of experience as Product Owner/Product Manager in a bank or FinTech - mandatory; Practical experience in forming product strategy, Lean Canvas and roadmap; Skills in conducting qualitative research and identifying business and user needs; Experience in validating hypotheses without involving the development team; Understanding of banking processes, specifics of financial products and regulator requirements; Experience in backlog management, task prioritization and working with cross-functional teams using Scrum; Ability to argue product decisions and defend them before management; Fluent in Uzbek and Russian languages.
