Product Manager (Middle+/Senior)

Product Manager (Middle+/Senior) at Top Selection, remote, full-time, 6-month project with extension, salary 200,000-250,000 RUB gross, Russia.

Responsibilities: - Manage projects from initiation to production and results: plan, stages, dependencies, risks. - Decompose projects into features and tasks with the team, control task size and deadlines. - Synchronize with related teams on dependencies and integrations, unblock the team. - Manage risks and deadlines: early detection of deviations, plan rebuild, escalation before deadlines are missed. - Transparent reporting on project status for team and stakeholders. - Organize and lead team meetings (planning, statuses, retros), maintain team rhythm. - Control and improve process metrics: Time to Market, estimation accuracy, volume of reopened tasks. - Gather requirements from business and product, identify real needs behind task formulations. - Describe business processes AS IS/TO BE, process and data flow diagrams (BPMN, UML, sequence diagrams). - Prepare documentation: functional requirements, user stories with acceptance criteria, scenarios, edge cases. - Work out integration requirements: API contracts, data formats, error scenarios, compatibility with existing services. - Analyze data to justify decisions: exports, simple SQL analytics, work with product dashboards. - Set tasks for A/B experiments, formulate hypotheses and success metrics, collect results. - Maintain project and product documentation in Confluence. - Accept results: verify implementation meets requirements before release.

Requirements: - At least 3 years as PM/BA/systems analyst in IT products or custom development, with at least one year in a hybrid role (leading projects and doing analytics). - Experience managing web/product development projects from idea to release, with personal responsibility for deadlines. - Ability to decompose large projects into clear tasks and keep their size manageable. - Experience writing requirements that development can take without rewriting: user stories, acceptance criteria, scenarios. - Understanding of client-server architecture and microservices at a level sufficient for dialogue with development: REST API, Swagger/OpenAPI, asynchronous interaction via queues, idempotency, contract versioning, backward compatibility. - SQL at the level of independent queries and joins to test hypotheses and analyze incidents. - Experience describing processes in notations: BPMN and/or UML. - Confident work with Jira and Confluence (or analogs): setting up task flows, project reporting, maintaining documentation structure. - Experience with Agile processes (Scrum/Kanban) not by the letter of the framework but in essence. - Ability to negotiate and communicate with different parties: product, development, QA, related teams, business customer.
