Product Lead (Predictions & ML) at Adapty, remote. Own a new direction combining analytics, LTV prediction, and A/B tests; lead two ML engineers and drive ML model quality for subscription monetization.

Adapty is a subscription monetization platform for mobile apps. Over $3B in subscription revenue passes through it annually, and more than 20,000 apps use it. The product is divided into streams; analytics and ML are now being brought under one owner. The direction is being built from scratch: analytics, prediction, and A/B tests converge under one owner for the first time. The role focuses on closing the gap in mobile advertising where LTV prediction determines how much an app can spend on growth. The company sees thousands of apps simultaneously and aims to predict more accurately than anyone. Currently it does not predict, and this is the role's task. You get a clean slate in decisions on top of a product that already generates money for twenty thousand apps. Responsibilities: — Define what we consider model quality — metric, horizon, baseline, calibration — and bring prediction to that level — Take over paywall A/B tests and connect them with prediction: the test measures short-term effect, while rollout must be based on long-term revenue — Accelerate analytics: find where the bottleneck is — in data, queries, or interface — Decide the fate of accumulated ML work: what to bring to product and what to close — Lead a team of two ML engineers

— Classical ML and mathematical statistics at the level of a substantive debate about metric and horizon, not retelling others' conclusions — SQL and Python — you retrieve and verify numbers yourself — Ability to take a broad direction and drive it to result without assigned tasks — Product experience — a plus, but not a requirement Nice to have: — Subscriptions, mobile, or fintech (LTV, churn, cohort economics) — Experimental design: power, MDE, multiple comparisons — ClickHouse — Olympiads, Kaggle, public projects
