Product Lead (Predictions & ML)

Adapty, a subscription monetization platform for mobile apps, seeks a Product Lead to build an analytics and ML direction from scratch, focusing on LTV prediction for mobile advertising.

Adapty is a subscription monetization platform for mobile apps. Over $3B in subscription revenue passes through us annually, and more than 20,000 apps use us. We divide the product into streams and are now consolidating analytics and ML under one owner. All mobile advertising hinges on one gap: revenue from an acquired user comes over a year through subscriptions and renewals, but the decision to continue spending on a channel must be made within days. This gap is closed by LTV prediction, and the accuracy of the forecast directly determines how much an app can afford to spend on growth. We have more data for this than almost anyone else on the market: we see thousands of apps simultaneously, not just one. So we can predict more accurately than anyone. Currently, we don't predict, and that's the task of this role. The direction is being assembled from scratch: analytics, prediction, and A/B tests converge under one owner for the first time. You get a clean slate in decisions on top of a product that already generates money for twenty thousand apps.

Classic ML and mathematical statistics at the level of a substantive dispute about metric and horizon, not retelling others' conclusions; SQL and Python - you independently retrieve and verify numbers; ability to take a broad direction and drive it to results without task assignments; product experience is a plus, but not required. Nice to have: subscriptions, mobile, or fintech (LTV, churn, cohort economics); experimental design: power, MDE, multiple comparisons; ClickHouse; olympiads, Kaggle, public projects.
