We are looking for a PHP Developer to join an international product team focused on search, recommendations, and experimentation for web and mobile platforms. This role goes beyond CRUD logic, involving work with high-load systems, key product functionalities, and data-driven experiments that directly impact business metrics. The position demands a deep understanding of the product, strong algorithmic thinking, and the ability to balance innovation with system stability. Key Responsibilities: Architecture and Development: Design scalable backend architecture, develop new features from scratch, optimize database queries, APIs, and caching. Search and Recommendations: Improve search (Sphinx, Elasticsearch), develop content catalogs, ranking, and recommendations in conjunction with ML services. Experiments and Product Initiatives: Create infrastructure for frontend experiments, manage projects from hypothesis to release, ensuring alignment with business goals. Code Quality and Collaboration: Write clean, maintainable code, resolve production issues, and collaborate closely with Product, Data, Design, and QA teams.

Must-haves: - 5+ years of experience in PHP. - Practical experience with high loads in a product company. - Experience with Elasticsearch, MySQL, or ClickHouse. - English B2 (fluent communication). - You are not located in the Russian Federation or the Republic of Belarus.
