PHP Backend Developer (Symfony)

Fully remote PHP Backend Developer (Symfony) position at an international fintech company building an investment platform, requires 5+ years of experience, full-time.

International fintech company developing an investment platform for capital management. Product development, complex financial business logic, integrations with external services. Main architecture is a conscious monolith. Tech stack: PHP 8+, Symfony 7, PostgreSQL, Doctrine ORM, Symfony Messenger, RabbitMQ, Redis, Docker, GitLab CI. Responsibilities: Develop and maintain backend of investment platform, design REST API and integrations with external services, develop existing architecture and new modules, optimize SQL queries and application performance, participate in code review and technical decisions.

Confident knowledge of PHP 8+ and commercial experience with Symfony, experience with Doctrine ORM, good knowledge of PostgreSQL: indexes, transactions, EXPLAIN ANALYZE, experience with RabbitMQ, Redis, and asynchronous processing, understanding of SOLID, DRY, KISS, DDD, and design patterns, experience developing complex product systems. Nice to have: experience in fintech, banking, payments, experience with large codebases, knowledge of Symfony Messenger, Kafka.
