NodeJS Backend Developer at Bfriendz Ltd, a dating startup. Full-time remote position with a salary range of 1500-2500 USD. The role involves developing and supporting the backend of a dating application.

We are looking for a confident Backend Developer to join our team. We are a startup in the dating industry. The application is already available on the AppStore and GooglePlay and has its first paying users. Responsibilities: • Work with our Senior Backend Developer • Development and support of the backend part of the product (NestJS, TypeScript) • Implementation of new features and improvement of current logic • Support and development of real-time functionality (Socket.io) • Work with API (REST, Swagger), ensuring stability and performance • Analysis and fixing of bugs in production and staging (quickly and without excessive bureaucracy) • Interaction with the mobile team (React Native) and understanding their needs • Participation in deployment and support of environments (together with the team)

• 2+ years of backend development experience in product teams or startups • Confident knowledge of TypeScript / Node.js (NestJS is desirable) • Good understanding of databases (PostgreSQL), writing and optimizing queries • Understanding of backend systems architecture • Experience with production systems (not just pet projects) • Ability to independently understand code and bring tasks from Figma to completion • Ability to work quickly and prioritize tasks in a startup environment • Mentality and readiness to work in a rapidly changing environment
