Gazeta.Ru, a leading Russian online media outlet, is seeking a Night News Correspondent for remote work. Responsibilities include monitoring news sources, writing news articles, and selecting visuals. Schedule: 11 PM to 7 AM Moscow time. Salary is negotiable.

Gazeta.Ru is a socio-political online media outlet that not only covers Russian and world news 24/7 but also shapes it with its exclusive materials. It is among the top 3 most cited media in Russia (Medialogia, 2023). Tasks: - Monitoring websites of Russian and foreign agencies, media, and social networks; - Writing news briefs in accordance with the criteria established by the editorial board and the rules of the Russian language; - Supplying briefs with illustrations, video clips, and other inserts in accordance with the criteria established by the editorial board.

What is important to us: - Experience in media; - Knowledge of the news agenda in the country and the world, especially on political topics; - Knowledge of the algorithms of Zen.News; - Ability to write quickly and competently; - Ability to write headlines and select illustrations.
