MLOps Engineer / Team Lead (IT Team Lead)

Aston is hiring a Middle MLOps Engineer / Team Lead for remote work. Lead a team of DS, DE, and MLOps specialists, ensure production standards, and manage model implementation.

Manage a team consisting of DS, DE, MLOps specialists. Comply with the requirements and standards of the bank's production process. Interact with project managers and internal customers. Participate in architectural decisions regarding model implementation and data for modeling. Estimate labor costs and timelines, decompose tasks for the team. Control quality and deadlines for task completion. Perform code review and participate in acceptance testing.

Experience as an MLOps Engineer for at least 5 years with a desire to grow into a leadership position, or experience as a Team Lead / IT Team Lead for at least 2 years and experience as a Data Engineer in a team for at least 3 years. Experience in Python development. Knowledge of Big Data (Hadoop, Spark). Experience with databases, confident SQL knowledge. Understanding of agile development methodologies (Agile). Understanding of CI/CD principles, Gitflow, release management. Nice to have: knowledge of process schedulers (AirFlow), containerization technologies (Kubernetes), experience in developing and/or implementing ML models into business processes, understanding of IT system integration methods.
