Yandex Bank is looking for an ML Developer to join their Retail Risks team. The role involves building and implementing ML solutions for risk management in Yandex's FinTech products, covering the full model lifecycle. Responsibilities include developing scoring models, predicting user income and behavior, designing experiments, analyzing data sources, and deploying models to production.

Our team develops and implements ML solutions for managing retail risks in Yandex's FinTech. We are responsible for the entire model lifecycle: from subject area analysis to production deployment and ongoing support. What tasks await you: • Build scoring models for Yandex's FinTech products. Scoring models allow assessing user creditworthiness and financial risks, making informed decisions about providing financial services, and increasing product accessibility for reliable clients. • Build models for predicting user income, actions, and behavior. By analyzing customer activity in Yandex services, we predict their income and financial behavior. This allows us to create offers that perfectly suit the user, considering their financial profile and life situation. • Design models, experiments, and A/B tests. We design experiments and A/B tests that allow us to collect the necessary data for model training and measure the impact of models on real business metrics. • Analyze the effectiveness of new data sources and apply them in models. By analyzing new information sources, we can significantly improve both model quality and product service level. • Deploy models to production, maintain their stability, and improve them. You will have the opportunity to continue developing already implemented models by testing new hypotheses and modern approaches.

We expect you to: • Be able to analyze data in Python • Be able to write SQL queries • Understand the principles of classical ML • Have developed models and presented them to clients or deployed them to production • Understand the basics of probability theory, mathematical statistics, and A/B testing
