Midle/Senior Game Designer
Bix Team is looking for an experienced Midle/Senior Game Designer for their main project WELTKRIEG 1: Firestorm, a mobile multiplayer shooter set in WWI. Remote work, negotiable salary.
About us: LinkedIn — ***** What you will do: — Design and develop core gameplay and key game systems (combat, classes, vehicles, progression) — Form and systematically improve game balance and meta (weapons, classes, vehicles, economy) — Create and maintain clear and applicable design documentation (GDD, feature specs, flows) — Work with product analytics and make data-driven decisions (Retention, Session Time, Engagement) — Collaborate with the team to bring features from idea to implementation — Influence product decisions and participate in shaping the long-term vision of the game — Act as an expert and improve the quality of design decisions within the team
What is important: — 5+ years of experience as a game designer (preferably in multiplayer/shooter projects) — Strong experience in system design and balance — Understanding of live-ops and post-release game development — Ability to work with metrics and interpret data — Experience creating clear, structured, and applicable documentation — Understanding of mobile gaming limitations and specifics — High level of responsibility for results and quality of decisions made — Ability to make decisions under uncertainty and justify them — Systems thinking and attention to detail — Experience working in a cross-functional team (developers, artists, producers) Will be a big plus: — Experience working on PvP shooters or dynamic multiplayer projects — Participation in game launch or live support — Understanding of free-to-play economy — Experience with A/B testing and hypotheses
