Middle Web Designer

Digital agency in finance seeks a strong Middle Web Designer for remote project work. Salary 90,000–130,000 RUB, growth to Lead possible.

We are actively developing our digital direction and are looking for an experienced designer who will take responsibility for the visual packaging of the company's products and services, independently lead projects from concept to finished layout, and build processes rather than just execute ready-made briefs. Tasks: • Develop concept design for websites 'turnkey': main page, all internal pages, and mobile version; • Independently develop landing pages for specific business tasks (lead generation, conversion); • Structure landing content — layout of meanings by blocks, not just visuals; • Design for a full range of formats: websites, landing pages, presentations, ad banners and creatives, visuals for social media and email newsletters; • Design user scenarios (UX) and create prototypes in Figma; • Develop responsive design (Desktop/Mobile) considering current UX/UI trends; • Create and develop a design system and UI kits for project consistency; • Form the visual style of projects and control its compliance; • Professionally present and defend design decisions to the team and clients — with arguments, not 'by eye'; • Support and refine existing projects; • Closely interact with developers when handing off layouts (specifications, Dev Mode); • Participate in briefing and task setting together with the team; • Participate in forming the digital team: in the future — mentor junior designers, whom we are also currently hiring.

Requirements: • Russian citizenship; • Commercial web experience of 1.5–2 years (mandatory)!; • Confident advanced Figma skills: Auto Layout, Variants, Components, UI kits, styles/tokens; • Understanding of responsive and mobile layout rules; • Strong portfolio with real commercial cases (task → solution → result), not just pictures; • Understanding of composition, typography, font design, and visual hierarchy; • Developed understanding of UI/UX principles, usability basics, and user scenarios; • Knowledge of current UX/UI trends and good taste; • Ability to work with brand books and create new visual rules; • Ability to independently make design decisions and justify them with business logic; • Speed and cleanliness of UI rendering; • Experience interacting with developers when handing off layouts; • Basic understanding of HTML/CSS and layout principles; • Responsibility and self-organization — critical for remote project work; • Willingness to complete a test assignment. Will be a big plus: • Experience in financial, banking, or B2B topics; • Experience building design systems from scratch; • Active use of neural networks in work (generating graphics, backgrounds, speeding up routine); • Experience with landing builders and no-code (Tilda, Webflow, etc.); • Knowledge of marketing basics and understanding how design affects conversion; • Experience with analytics (Yandex.Metrica, heat maps) to evaluate layout effectiveness; • Experience mentoring/reviewing other designers' work.
