Middle+/Senior Machine Learning Engineer for AI product development in Abu Dhabi. Hybrid for 6 months, then periodic business trips, otherwise fully remote. Salary up to $5k (contract) + relocation + business trip allowance. Excludes Russian citizenship.

Our team is looking for an engineer interested in building AI products for a regulated, security-sensitive environment (GenAI + predictive analytics). Importantly, the role involves long paid business trips to the UAE. Responsibilities: Build and fine-tune LLM/NLP pipelines for parsing complex technical and regulatory texts into structured outputs. Design RAG/semantic search for large document collections and historical data. Develop predictive models: time-series forecasting, risk scoring, anomaly detection, optimization for decision support. Productionize ML: containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), secure on-prem deployments, automated pipelines (MLflow/Kubeflow). Optimize inference (latency/resources): quantization, distillation, monitoring, and retraining loops. Work in an agile format with high engineering standards and documentation.

Senior ML Engineering grade with proven experience in production deployments. Proficient Python + PyTorch/TensorFlow, scikit-learn, Pandas/NumPy. Practical experience with transformers and tooling (Hugging Face, LangChain). Strong data engineering skills (SQL + preprocessing of unstructured texts/PDFs). Willingness to undergo a strict background/security screening. Bonus points: Experience in regulated domains and/or secure on-prem environments. Applied optimization / graph algorithms / formalization of complex rules. Model performance tuning at scale.
