Middle/Senior C# Backend Engineer

International SaaS product seeks Middle/Senior C# Backend Engineer. Salary $2,500–4,000/month before taxes. Full-time remote, candidates outside Russia. Develop cloud platform for commercial and financial process automation.

Our team develops a cloud platform for automating commercial and financial processes. The product is actively growing, so we are looking for a backend developer to help scale the server side and launch new functional modules. What will be involved: — Developing new services and business modules in C# / .NET — Creating APIs for customer portals, mobile clients, and internal systems — Working with calculations, balances, tariffs, limits, and operational statuses — Integrating with external APIs, providers, and corporate systems — Designing background tasks and event processing — Optimizing database queries and improving service performance — Writing unit and integration tests — Participating in architecture and technical decision discussions — Using AI assistants to speed up development and code analysis

Commercial C# development experience 3+ Good understanding of .NET and ASP.NET Core Ability to independently understand existing code Knowledge of SQL, indexes, transactions, and query optimization Understanding of async/await, queues, and background processing Experience designing APIs and service-to-service interaction Basic understanding of JWT, OAuth 2.0, and secure development principles Ability to work with AI tools: Claude, Copilot, and similar Ability to review and correct AI-generated code English B1/B2 or higher Nice to have: — Experience in payment, billing, or e-commerce projects — Knowledge of DDD, Clean Architecture, or CQRS — Experience with Redis, Kubernetes, or cloud infrastructure — Understanding of reliable event processing principles — Skills in setting up monitoring and logging — Experience automating testing with AI
