Middle/Senior Business/System Analyst

Middle/Senior Business/System Analyst for a B2B iGaming & Sports Betting platform. Office in Limassol, Cyprus or hybrid. Strong technical backend focus.

We are developing a B2B platform in the iGaming & Sports Betting sector and are looking for a Business/System Analyst with a strong technical background (Backend). Responsibilities: - Elaborate business and product requirements, translate them into technical specifications for development. - Describe business logic, user scenarios, edge cases, and acceptance criteria. - Work on API and integration interactions between systems. - Conduct grooming/refinement with developers and QA. - Support features until release, update requirements, and participate in functional acceptance. - Independently verify API, data, and system behavior when analyzing tasks and defects. - Maintain technical and product documentation.

Experience as a Business/System Analyst at Middle/Senior level. - Ability to translate product requirements into concrete technical specifications. - Understanding of REST API, integrations, and client-server architecture (backend/frontend). - Practical skills with Postman, SQL, Git. - Knowledge of Protobuf and understanding of gRPC. - Ability to read technical documentation, API diagrams, and logs. - Experience in describing processes and system interactions (Sequence Diagrams, BPMN/UML or similar). Nice to have: - Technical/engineering background and knowledge of programming languages. - Experience with Kafka or other message brokers. - Experience with OpenAPI/Swagger and microservice architecture. - Ability to independently localize issues at the level of requests, data, and logs.
