Middle QA Engineer (Manual)

Remote QA Engineer for smart city solutions at Umojo. Salary up to $2000, full-time.

We are looking for a self-sufficient QA Engineer interested in working on the quality of complex products and solutions in the smart city sphere. You will join a dynamic Russian-English speaking team working with modern technologies, including real-time systems, geospatial data, and interactive web platforms. Your work will directly impact the quality of a complex system used in real-world conditions. Responsibilities: • Write clear and structured test cases • Create, maintain, and prioritize bug backlog • Conduct functional and exploratory testing • Perform regression testing within regular releases • Ensure testing remains an integral part of the development and product delivery process • Analyze requirements and identify potential issues early • Independently localize, reproduce, and describe found issues • Test REST API

• At least 3 years of web application testing experience • Solid knowledge of test design techniques • Experience testing REST API • Basic understanding of HTTP • Ability to independently analyze and reproduce issues • English B1 or higher, sufficient for reading technical documentation and work communication Nice to have: • Experience with SQL • Experience with OpenSearch and Prometheus • Experience with BrowserStack • Experience with Apache Airflow • Understanding of DAG, task dependencies, retries, and error handling • Good troubleshooting skills • Attention to detail and ability to work with multiple tasks simultaneously
