Middle+ Full-Stack Developer | iGaming / Live Product
Middle+ Full-Stack Developer for a mobile-first live iGaming product. Build realtime betting UX and server logic with Node.js, TypeScript, React, WebSocket, PostgreSQL, Redis. Full-time, remote.
The product is a mobile-first live game with a live stream where players follow a round in real time, see a growing multiplier, and can place a bet or cash out in one tap. The team needs a developer comfortable on both frontend and backend, with realtime systems and products where speed, stability, and UX matter. Responsibilities: - Develop a mobile-first game interface: live player, one-tap betting and cash-out, real-time round and multiplier rendering. - Implement realtime client-server interaction via WebSocket / Socket.IO: round synchronization, leaderboards, lobby chat. - Write server logic on Node.js + TypeScript + Express: betting engine, outcome processing, bet history. - Work with PostgreSQL + Prisma; use Redis for caching and state synchronization. - Cover code with Vitest tests and participate in code review. - Set up and maintain a local environment via Docker Compose. Goals for the first 1-3 months: together with the team bring the product to a working prototype and beta. Opportunity to influence not only code but also architecture, technical decisions, and product development.
Mandatory: - 3+ years of commercial TypeScript development: Node.js on the backend and React on the frontend. - Hands-on experience with realtime systems and WebSocket / Socket.IO. - Understanding of state synchronization, latency, reconnect mechanics, and other realtime specifics. - Confident work with PostgreSQL and Redis. - Experience building REST and WebSocket APIs. - Understanding of performance and responsiveness of interfaces on mobile devices. - Careful work with tests (Vitest / Jest) and Git-flow. - Independence and Middle+ level of responsibility. - Experience in iGaming / betting, understanding of game mechanics and provably fair principles. Nice to have: - Experience with Kafka / KafkaJS. - Experience with ClickHouse. - Work with video streams (HLS / .m3u8) or computer vision. - Experience developing PWA and mobile optimization. - Experience building high-load realtime systems.
