Middle AQA Engineer (Python)

Middle AQA Engineer (Python) at Innovative People for MTS team. Remote in Russia, full-time. Salary 240,000 RUB net. Automation testing with Python, Pytest, Playwright, API/UI, Docker, CI/CD.

Innovative People is an accredited IT company with 18 years of experience. Over this time, it has delivered 400+ projects for major Russian and international clients in fintech and retail. The role is for the MTS team. Responsibilities: - Develop and maintain UI/API autotests in Python (Pytest, Playwright). - Perform manual testing of API and web interface (including checking layout compliance with Figma). - Localize defects: debug issues from frontend, backend, third-party systems, analyze logs. - Write test documentation in TMS (TestIT): create test cases, checklists, and bug reports with artifact collection. - Perform regression testing of the platform before releases, including checking database schema migrations and autotests in CI/CD pipeline (GitLab CI). - Work with Docker infrastructure: raise a test stand via docker-compose, debug failed containers, and isolate environments to reproduce bugs.

- Experience in test automation with Python. - Experience writing tests using Pytest and Playwright frameworks. - Experience writing auxiliary utilities in Python. - Experience in manual and automated API testing. Working with Postman, analyzing documentation in Swagger/OpenAPI. - Experience in manual UI testing. DevTools, Figma. - SQL knowledge at query level. - Writing nested SELECT queries with JOINs across multiple tables. - Confident work with version control and CI/CD. Git (branching, conflict resolution, code review). - Understanding of message brokers and task queues. - Experience with object storage (S3-compatible). - Practical experience with Docker. - Understanding isolation, knowledge of commands for debugging failed containers. - Basic Linux administration skills. Working in terminal (bash). - Experience with test management systems (TMS). TestIT/TestOPS or similar. - Writing test plans, linking test cases to requirements. - Skill in writing test documentation. - Creating test cases, checklists and bug reports. - Understanding specifics of computer vision platforms (without deep ML immersion) - desirable. - Skills in localizing problems in distributed systems. - Ability to trace event chain from browser button to database record, passing through API Gateway, message broker and logs of a specific microservice.
