Manual QA Engineer (Team Lead)

IT People group is looking for a Manual QA Engineer (Team Lead) for remote work in Russia. Full-time, long-term engagement.

Responsibilities: • Strengthen the existing network equipment testing team and lead a dedicated team. • Analyze and review requirements and use cases, prepare test design and test scenarios. • Analyze and optimize the test base, improve test coverage. • Organize and conduct testing of new functionality and acceptance testing for releases. • Prepare test plans, coordinate their execution by team members, and directly participate in testing. • Interact with adjacent teams to coordinate work and remove obstacles. • Analyze test results, describe and classify found issues, prepare reports. • Improve testing processes and methods; measure and improve product quality.

Requirements: • Experience working with networks in data centers. • Expert knowledge and practical experience with network protocols used in data centers (MCLAG, BGP, OSPF, VxLAN, etc.) and offices. • Experience managing a team of 3-4 people. • Experience in hiring and motivating employees. • Understanding of modern computers and operating systems. • Experience with Linux, version control, task and defect management tools, and other software development infrastructure. • Good understanding of development and testing processes. • Organizational skills, systems thinking, analytical skills, attention to detail. Nice to have: • Experience in network architecture development/implementation projects. • Experience with test automation at the code level (Python, Go, etc.). • Cisco CCNA/Juniper JNCIA/etc., Huawei HCIP/HCIE for Datacom, Ericsson Extreme courses/certifications. • Experience testing complex high-load systems.
