Legal Counsel / Licensing

Legal Counsel / Licensing role in Belgrade, Serbia. Responsible for licensing and regulatory direction in high-risk segment. Official employment, relocation support, office work.

Focus of the role is to be responsible for licensing and regulatory direction of the company in the high-risk segment. Responsibilities: obtaining new licenses and permits; maintaining existing licenses; interacting with regulators and government authorities; studying requirements when entering new CIS countries; supporting company launch in new jurisdictions; preparing documents and responses to regulator requests; working with external lawyers and consultants when necessary.

Higher legal education; experience in licensing and regulatory; real experience interacting with regulators; understanding of legislation and requirements of CIS countries; ability to independently carry out licensing tasks from studying requirements to obtaining a license; English from B1. Will be a plus: experience in iGaming, FinTech, payments, or another regulated sphere.

Official employment and assistance with residence permit; office work in Belgrade; work schedule: 5/2 from 9:00 to 17:00; paid vacation and sick leave; 4 additional day-offs per year; salary discussed; willingness to travel on business trips is mandatory.
