Lead QA Tester

Lead QA Tester at Devquality. Remote. Manual testing of network equipment (switches) with MC-LAG, BGP, OSPF, VxLAN, VPN, VRRP, LACP. Salary up to 190k net. Requires data center network experience and managing a team of 3-4+ people.

Project: team performs manual testing of a line of network equipment, switches of various types, supporting many services and a wide range of functionality: MC-LAG, BGP, OSPF, VxLAN, VPN, VRRP, LACP, etc. Responsibilities: - Strengthen the existing network equipment testing team, manage a dedicated team - Analyze and review requirements and use cases, prepare test design and test scenarios - Analyze and optimize the test base, improve test coverage - Organize and conduct testing of new functionality and acceptance testing for releases - Prepare test plans, coordinate their execution by team members, and participate directly in testing - Interact with related teams to coordinate work and remove blockers - Analyze test results, describe and classify found issues, prepare reports - Improve testing processes and methods - Measure and improve product quality

Mandatory: - RF citizenship and location - Experience with networks in data centers is required; candidates without this experience will not be considered - Experience managing a team of 3-4+ people - Expert knowledge and practical experience with network protocols used in data centers (MC-LAG, BGP, OSPF, VxLAN, etc.) and offices - Experience in recruiting and motivating employees - Understanding of modern computers and operating systems in general - Experience with Linux, version control, task and defect management, and other software development infrastructure - Good understanding of software development and testing processes - Organizational skills, systems thinking, analytical skills, attention to detail
