Lead Designer (Brand and Production)

Leading designer for a wine resort in Gelendzhik, Russia. Responsibilities include operational design leadership, managing a production team, and hands-on design work for menus, wine lists, and print materials.

Wine city 'White Cape' in Gelendzhik is seeking a lead design specialist to take on operational leadership: coordinate brand design processes, manage the internal production team (junior designers, layout specialists) and external contractors. Must remain a practicing designer - independently create key concepts for menus, wine lists, and print materials, work hands-on and control production from idea to pre-press. Together with the Brand Designer, you will develop the brand's visual ecosystem, adapting the style across various locations - from restaurants and wine shops to event venues and merch.

Professional with 5+ years of experience, equally strong working autonomously and in a team. Three key focuses in portfolio: strong system branding - ability to roll out one identity across dozens of media while maintaining a single brand DNA; outstanding typography - impeccable font sense, expensive, clean, and complex layout of multi-page menus and cards; advanced AI integration - confident prompting in Midjourney and integrating generative AI into real commercial design. Experience in HoReCa, wine industry, or successful simultaneous management of multiple sub-brands is a big plus. Expert proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and Figma, deep understanding of complex production. Basic motion is a plus. Perfect visual taste is key.
