Junior SEO Assistant at Citrus Systems in Belgrade. Responsibilities include keyword research, on-page optimization, content support, SERP monitoring, Google Search Console analysis, technical SEO, and CMS publishing. Requires 0-2 years of experience.

We are an IT company occupying a remarkable place in marketing, gaming, and financial segments of the iGaming industry. Our products are successfully implemented in European, African, and Latin American markets. As a Junior SEO Assistant at our company, we expect you to be responsible for: Keyword research. Finding, expanding, and clustering keyword lists by search intent, and mapping keywords to relevant pages. On-page optimization. Improving titles, meta descriptions, heading structure (H1–H3), internal linking, image alt text, and other on-page elements. Content support. preparing content briefs/outlines and FAQs, generating initial drafts with AI tools, and ensuring clear formatting and readability. SERP and competitor monitoring. Tracking Google SERP changes and features, reviewing competitor activity, and monitoring LLM citations (ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity). Google Search Console. Analyzing queries and page performance, running coverage and indexability checks, submitting sitemaps, and monitoring indexing status. Technical SEO. Running crawls, identifying issues (broken links, redirect chains, duplicate titles, missing metadata, indexability flags), and documenting them for the development team. CMS publishing and QA. Uploading and formatting content, adding metadata, applying canonicals as instructed, and checking pages before and after publishing.

Desired skills and experience: 0–2 years of experience in SEO or digital marketing (internship, freelance, or personal projects are acceptable) Basic understanding of how search engines work Experience with core tools like Google Search Console and Excel/Google Sheets Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS Good organization skills: you can handle many small tasks, track progress, meet deadlines, and keep spreadsheets/tickets tidy Clear communication skills: you can explain your ideas in a simple way English language (reading, speaking, and writing)
