Junior Network Security Engineer

Junior Network Security Engineer at T-Bank, Moscow. Hybrid. Salary discussed at interview. Maintain and develop network security tools (FW/NGFW, IDS/IPS, Proxy, HBFW), automate tasks, manage network access, and improve processes.

• Maintain and develop network security tools, including FW/NGFW, IDS/IPS, Web Proxy, HBFW and other solutions. • Work with network access: conduct reviews, issue accesses, and resolve issues. • Improve team operational processes. • Update internal and user documentation on network security. • Automate routine tasks and processes using scripts, APIs, and integrations. • Participate in the development of new internal automation tools.

• Experience implementing and operating network security tools, including FW/NGFW, IDS/IPS, Web Proxy and other solutions. • Experience with network access approval and issuance processes. • Knowledge of network technologies and protocols: TCP/IP, VLAN, TLS, DNS, mTLS, IPsec, QUIC, VRF and routing protocols. • Knowledge of protection mechanisms: SSL/TLS decryption, URL filtering, Application Control, 802.1X, ACL, MAB, Port Security. • Knowledge of modern information security approaches: Zero Trust, Secure by Design, defense-in-depth. • Ability to automate tasks with Python, Go, PowerShell or Bash. • Nice to have: experience with high-load or distributed infrastructures. • Nice to have: experience with virtualized and container environments, including VMware, OpenStack, Docker, Kubernetes.
