Java Developer for Yandex 360 B2B Platform Team

Yandex seeks a Java Developer for the B2B platform team of Yandex 360. Remote (Moscow, Saint Petersburg), flexible schedule, extended VHI, 80% VHI for family. Tasks: transition from Python to Java, create Java services, microservices, architecture design.

B2B platform is a group of services for managing organizations in Yandex 360: resource lifecycle (files, shared drives, mailboxes) and organizational structure (employees, groups, departments). Responsibilities: - Manage the gradual transition from Python to Java within the development group: decomposition of the Python monolith into functional blocks, formation of a unified template for new Java services. - Create new services in Java, train other developers in the team. - Develop new microservices for business tasks: create APIs, work with components of the Yandex 360 ecosystem. - Design architecture, choose patterns, implement new functional modules.

Requirements: - Excellent knowledge of Java, clean optimized code, ability to apply design patterns. - Experience with high-load systems: efficient storage and processing of large data volumes, profiling and optimization. - Ability to decompose and solve complex problems: understand business requirements, break down into subtasks, prioritize. - Nice to have: experience in splitting a monolith into microservices (Strangler Fig, DDD, etc.), design and implementation of scalable architecture.
