Yandex is looking for a Java Developer to join their AI and Spam Defense team. The role involves improving spam defense quality, implementing new AI features in Yandex 360 services, and modernizing the spam defense architecture. Remote and office options available.

What tasks await you: - Improving the quality of Spam Defense. Spammers are constantly coming up with new mechanisms to bypass protection. Therefore, the issue of improving quality always remains relevant. You will have to implement new tools for spam classification, including those based on AI. - Implementing new AI features in Yandex 360 services. You will have to write high-load services that will process tens of thousands of requests per second. It is important that, like any runtime component, LLM services are fault-tolerant, maintainable, and easily scalable. - Modernizing the Spam Defense architecture. You will have to rethink and modernize the key components of Spam Defense: port legacy functionality from C++ to Java, update the codebase, and bring it to modern development standards. You will need to delve deeply into the project architecture, understand historically established solutions, and systematically rework them, maintaining the reliability and performance of the service.
