Intern Data Engineer (BI)

Intern Data Engineer (BI) at Lotsiya. Part-time, 3-month fixed-term, up to 30 hours/week, remote/office/hybrid. Build ETL pipelines, dbt, Dagster, PostgreSQL, ClickHouse, Apache Superset.

Internship in the BI team. Building ETL processes: developing and configuring pipelines for collecting and transforming data from various sources. Working with modern transformation stack: learning and applying dbt to turn raw data into clean analytical marts. Data orchestration: setting up and maintaining pipelines in Dagster. Storage management: working with PostgreSQL and columnar ClickHouse. Visualization: developing interactive BI reports in Apache Superset. Query optimization: analyzing and speeding up heavy queries.

SQL: confident command (complex queries, aggregate functions, understanding query optimization principles). Databases: understanding relational DB design (particularly PostgreSQL) and general principles of analytical data warehouses. Python: basic knowledge, ability to write scripts for data processing and simple automation. Analytical mindset: ability to work with large data sets, identify patterns, and structure information.

Part-time (urgent fixed-term contract for 3 months, 5/2, no more than 30 hours per week). Work format: remote, office, or hybrid. Internship in the BI team. Students from any universities and study modes, including part-time and master's, are considered.
