HR Business Partner

HR Business Partner role at VGK (East Mining Company), Shakhtersk, Sakhalin. Salary 345,000 gross, relocation package, opportunity to shape HR strategy at key production asset.

We are seeking an HR Business Partner for VGK LLC, located in Shakhtersk urban-type settlement, Sakhalin. Eastern Mining Company is the largest coal mining holding on Sakhalin. We have a high pace, large-scale tasks, and a specific but very interesting audience — from line and rotational personnel to mine management. We need a person who can see the bigger picture behind HR processes and build a system of working with people that serves business goals and reduces turnover. Responsibilities: - Act as a full partner for managers: develop organizational structures, plan headcount and careers, and manage changes - Build a retention system: analyze turnover causes, control recruitment, ensure smooth onboarding to shifts - Optimize C&B processes: manage payroll budget, set fair bonus schemes, verify payroll accuracy - Develop engagement and communications: implement corporate values, facilitate surveys, and establish transparent dialogue between management and workers

Experience as HRBP for at least 3 years, preferably in production or mining. Understanding of motivation specifics for worker and rotational staff, ability to speak with managers in their language, coach them, and give constructive feedback. Important: systems thinking, analytical approach to HR processes, proactivity in finding practical solutions, and autonomy.

Salary 345,000 gross. Relocation package for the candidate and family members.
