Head of Service Design position in a Russian tech company. Company seeks candidates from Moscow/St. Petersburg or willing to relocate. Salary is discussed individually. Work format: Office, Hybrid. Position level: Senior.

The company is looking for a leader with experience in developing and launching hardware and software products, a deep understanding of customer needs in the implementation and operation of equipment and software, and familiarity with enterprise-level technical support principles. Responsibilities: - Leading a team of professionals: technical product experts, project managers, product managers; - Forming and developing the service design of the company's products (SW/HW); - Analyzing technological trends, best practices of international A-class vendors, technical solutions, and the competitive landscape in terms of product service characteristics; - Building effective cross-functional communication to achieve results, organizing and regulating the interaction of performers in solving cross-team tasks; - Developing team performance metrics and the impact of implemented changes on company metrics; - Change management, including plan execution control, feedback, and expectation management; - Resource planning, dependency and risk management; - Participating in attracting talented specialists to the team; - Responsibility for implementing agreed-upon improvements, conducting regular presentations of strategies and their progress, etc.

Successful experience in building and managing an engaged and effective team; Strategic thinking and planning skills in conditions of uncertainty; Good understanding of the architecture and principles of computer hardware and software construction. Experience in operating IT equipment (servers, storage, etc.) Deep understanding of the needs of implementation, operation, and service departments for equipment and software; Understanding of software development processes, development and production of hardware platforms; Understanding of project management and risk management principles (Waterfall, Agile, PMP etc); Proven leadership qualities, results-orientation, and effectiveness in achieving ambitious goals in collaboration with horizontal teams; Ability to unite and direct the efforts of various departments to successfully achieve set goals; Decision-making skills and the ability to take responsibility for them; Self-organization and ability to work autonomously. English language proficiency (Intermediate level and above).
