Job Details

Head of Java Development position at MTS in Moscow. Responsibilities include forming and implementing back-end strategy, building and developing a back-end team, and ensuring high code quality. Requires strong Java 17+, Spring Boot, SQL knowledge.

Form and implement the strategy for the development of the back-end direction in accordance with the company's goals. Define technical priorities and long-term development plans for back-end. Build and develop a strong team of back-end developers. Distribute tasks and organize effective interaction within the team. Maintain high standards of code quality and architecture of the developed systems. Analyze back-end requirements and develop optimal technical solutions. Make decisions on the feasibility and methods of introducing new technologies into development processes.

Good knowledge of Java 17+, Spring Boot, SQL. Ability to understand other people's code (Code Review). Ability and desire to write Unit tests and require others to write tests. Understanding of system operation in a cloud environment. Participation in the development of high-load products. Knowledge of basic algorithms, data structures, understanding of design patterns. Experience with HTTP, Rest, Kafka. Experience with encryption programs.
