Head of Information Security (CISO)

Head of Information Security (CISO) for a high-tech FinTech product, remote, up to $5,000 GROSS, building security function from scratch.

We are a high-tech FinTech product in payment infrastructure. We are looking for a practical and strong Head of Information Security to build the information security function from scratch. Responsibilities: • Access & Device Security: IAM / RBAC, MFA / 2FA, VDI / Remote Desktop, MDM, encryption. • Infrastructure & Business Continuity: segmentation and protection of critical infrastructure, Disaster Recovery. • OPSEC & Communications: protection of corporate channels, control of external domains and digital footprint. • Monitoring & Incident Response: building incident response process, SIEM / DLP, root-cause analysis. • OSINT & Data Leak Prevention: monitoring leaks of corporate data, passwords, and mentions. • Vendor Security & Compliance: risk assessment of third-party services, payment gateways, security awareness. • Forming a 12-month security roadmap.

• 5–8 years of experience in Information Security; • At least 2 years in FinTech / Payments / iGaming or other high-risk areas; • Experience building a security function from scratch; • Residing outside Russia / Belarus (abroad); • Practical experience with IAM / RBAC, MFA / 2FA, and access management; • Experience developing and implementing security policies; • Experience investigating real security incidents and implementing preventive measures; • Understanding of payment business risks: fraud, insider threats, API access, data leaks; • Experience with security of distributed / remote teams; • Understanding of OSINT, OPSEC, and digital footprint; • Ability to make quick decisions and take responsibility in crisis situations.
