Head of Architecture and Data Management

Head of Architecture and Data Management in Moscow. Lead a team of 20+, define IT and data architecture, data governance, and security. Requires 15+ years in IT, 7+ years in leadership. Full-time, competitive salary, VMI.

Manage the department and team: build and develop the team, plan the department's work, distribute workload, control deadlines and quality, analyze efficiency, and ensure compliance with local regulations. Manage solution and data architecture: form and approve target IT architecture aligned with business needs and strategic goals; develop unified standards and principles for building new IT systems and services; design data architecture including data types, formats, exchange protocols, and integration interaction for data management and exchange; create and maintain a company-wide data management strategy including long-term data usage plans; develop a data lifecycle management policy (creation, storage, usage, archiving); organize monitoring of corporate data stores, analyze efficiency, and optimize computing resources; manage risks of IT solution implementation projects and organize the work of the IT architecture and technical council; participate in developing and approving strategic decisions on IT infrastructure development; design architecture with scalability and total cost of ownership reduction in mind; ensure data security (encryption, access control).

15+ years of experience in IT, including at least 7 years in managerial positions. Must have experience building solution architecture from scratch and managing data stores. Higher education in IT, applied mathematics and computer science, or a non-technical degree plus professional retraining in IT. Additional professional training in solution architecture and data store management. Understanding of enterprise IT architecture principles. Experience managing an IT function and a team of 20+ people. Knowledge of current international and Russian legislation related to IT and data.
