Graphic Designer

PURPLEHAZE Magazine seeks a graphic designer for a print issue, remote project cooperation with possible long-term collaboration. Requires 2-3 years experience, print layout skills, Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator.

PURPLEHAZE Magazine, an international independent publication about fashion, contemporary art and visual culture, is looking for a graphic designer to work on the next print issue with the possibility of long-term collaboration on subsequent issues. We are looking for someone who understands modern editorial design, has a sense of typography, can work with large print projects and can maintain the high visual level of an international publication. What to do: • Layout of the new print issue of PURPLEHAZE Magazine; • Work with fashion editorials, artist features, interviews, advertising pages and service sections of the magazine; • Preparation of files for professional printing; • Collaboration with the editor-in-chief on the final visual image of each spread.

• Experience as a graphic designer from 2–3 years; • Mandatory experience with magazines, books or other print publications; • Excellent knowledge of Adobe InDesign; • Confident knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator; • Understanding of modern editorial layout principles; • Experience in preparing files for professional printing; • Ability to meet deadlines and independently organize the work process. Mandatory: • Portfolio: must include projects on magazine, book or other print layout; • Experience with editorial publications will be a big advantage.
