Game Mathematician / Specialist in Game Mathematics
We are developing a CS2 case opening platform and are looking for a mathematician to build and develop the project's mathematical model. Long-term project.
Tasks: • Development of the mathematical model for cases; • Calculation and tuning of RTP, EV, House Edge; • Calculation of item drop probabilities; • Variance/volatility and distribution of winnings; • Calibration of probabilities to a given RTP; • Monte-Carlo simulations for 1-10+ million openings; • Analysis of economy and profitability over a long distance; • Risk assessment and required bankroll/reserve; • Automatic recalculation of the model when market prices of CS2 skins change; • Mathematical development of additional game mechanics.
We are looking for a specialist with a strong understanding of probability theory and mathematical statistics. Experience in iGaming, Game Math, Loot Boxes, Case Opening, RNG, or game economy is especially interesting. Will be a big plus: • Python / NumPy; • Experience with Monte-Carlo modeling; • Practical experience with RTP and House Edge; • Understanding of CS2 skin economy; • Examples of implemented mathematical models. We need not just a developer, but a person capable of building a sustainable mathematical system for the project and testing its behavior over a long distance.
Long-term project. After developing the base model, continuous work on new modes, mechanics, and balance is planned.
