Founding Accountant

Senior Accountant for a global IT startup in the restaurant business. Remote, full-time, competitive salary.

We are looking for a Senior Accountant (Restaurant projects) for an international IT startup that develops solutions for automating business processes and transforms traditional financial, HR, and payment processes using algorithmization and AI technologies in the restaurant business. Responsibilities: — Accounting: full-cycle accounting for restaurants in multiple jurisdictions. — Process analysis and description: analyzing existing accounting processes, identifying relationships between operations, and designing efficient accounting schemes. — Preparing processes for automation: decomposing accounting tasks and formalizing accounting rules for implementation in the system. — Product testing: verifying automated algorithms, validating calculations and postings, identifying errors and discrepancies. — Interaction with developers: explaining accounting logic and financial processes to a technical team without a professional accounting background.

— Mandatory experience in the restaurant business (F&B) with a deep understanding of industry specifics. — Knowledge of cost accounting, write-offs, inventory, stock balances, and specific accounting postings in the restaurant business. — Knowledge of IFRS and understanding of adapting accounting to tax requirements of different countries. — Fluent Russian and English for communication with an international team and working with documentation. — Ability to explain complex accounting concepts structurally and clearly to non-finance specialists. — Practical experience with iiko, R-Keeper, 1C, Xero, Sage, or Lightspeed, SQL, interest in AI, and experience in Big4 is an advantage.
